Eric Field
Alumni 2005Eric has the unusual distinction of being the first graduate student to sing for DMaC in 2004. After getting his degree in English Literature and Drama, he moved back to Chicago to get his M.Ed. Countless hours later singing in the U-Hall Fishbowl and hanging out with Josh, Berto, and company, the real world pulled Eric away from DMaC in the fall of 2005 (first full-time teaching job, capstone graduate classes, and upcoming wedding). Currently, he teaches high school English and Speech/Debate in rural Southwest Missouri. He lives in NW Arkansas (Wal-Mart Capitol of the World!!!) with his wife and two cats. When not teaching, he has been performing and directing community theatre. Favorite shows include “Guys and Dolls” (Nathan Detroit), “Sweet Charity” (Herman), and “Joseph…” (Levi/Baker). Directing credits include “Arsenic and Old Lace”, “Oklahoma!”, “The Hobbit”, and “The Jungle Book.”
