Roberto Carrillo
Alumni 2008Roberto is a piccolo enthusiast and loves to play the cello in his spare time. Touring in China on orchestra tour as Classical Symphony’s principal flutist in 2005. He was a former competitive swimmer turned runner, running the Marathon in 2006. His favorite music is punk rock, Latin, classical, easy listening, and the occasional pop song.
Roberto is the oldest member in DMAC ever. Being with DMAC since winter of 2004 when the group became a large ensemble until spring 2008. Roberto has soloed various times with the group and one of few members to get a unanimous vote in for his voice and personality.
Roberto is a big influence to tying the new members to the old and a wonderful contributor to rehearsals, vocal technique, and energy. Although he is graduating in spring of 2008 he is thankful to have been apart of a brotherhood like DMAC where he had many fond memories. Upon graduation he plans to teach orchestra in the Chicago land area and belt out a great song while in the shower.
