Matthew “Soul Brother” Manning, also known as “Chocolate Thunder,” “Cocoa Lightning,” “Milk Chocolate,” “Tall, Dark and Handsome,” “Cocoa Candy,” “MC Pez,” and “Daisy,” was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He has spent the last few years in Minneapolis, MN. He plays basketball, and vennis, draws, and of course, spits mad fire with his vocal chords. Matthew enjoys volunteering and serving the world. He spent last summer in an orphanage for the impoverished in Ghana, West Africa, teaching sports education.

Matthew recently created his own non-profit organization, Worldwide Orphanage Relief Corporation (W.O.R.C.) to raise relief efforts for international impoverished youth. Besides singing and lending a helping hand, Matthew is also in the process of writing a book.

Tyler, a northwest suburbs kid turned chi-town urbanite, has been a member of DMaC for two years now. After finally discovering the meaning of “DMaC Love” spring quarter of his freshman year, Tyler committed his time and energy to additional ventures, including discovering all the local vegan restaurants, catching films at the Landmark theatre, obsessing over his dog —oh, and sometimes he studies… But basically Tyler continues to enjoy his time as a tenor 1 in DMaC, striving to sing higher notes each year, much to the dismay of his roommates and neighbors.

Tyler looks forward to rejoining the group and meeting its new members when he returns from studying abroad in London, England.
